All Warm and Water-Tight at Queensbridge School

Allen Construction Consultancy, the Midlands-based property and construction specialists, has recently completed several pieces of work with Queensbridge School, the visual and performing arts college.

Fran Ridge, Director of Operations at Queensbridge School, said, “We are privileged to be based in such an iconic building, but inevitably that means the need for repairs from time to time to keep our students safe from the elements. Allen Construction Consultancy have completed a phased series of works for the school, including window replacements and roof refurbishment, that will give us thermal insulation for years to come. The school and the Governors are very happy with the work provided by Allen, and we have since recommended them to other schools.”

Whilst Queensbridge School is a specialist visual and performing arts college it provides a full curriculum for pupils aged 11-16. In 2013, following continued annual rises in GCSE results, the school was judged to be ‘Outstanding’ in every category by Ofsted.
