RIBA Love Architecture Festival 2014

Dates have been published for RIBA's Love Architecture Festival 2014, and they include a special event with one of our own.

Kathryn Lennon-Johnson, Allen's Marketing and Business Development Manager, is also a committee member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), who have their own event on this year's calendar.

The TV and Film Walking Tour will combine recognisable locations with the architectural history of the city. A guided tour around nearly a dozen city centre locations that have featured in TV shows and movie filmed on location in the city. With a fascinating insight and background information on the challenges filming in a major city brings from Film Birmingham and NAWIC.

The tour will start outside the Former Birmingham Municipal Bank on Broad Street (opposite the new Library of Birmingham) at 6pm on Thursday 26th June.
