Another Apple for Allen

Allen Construction Consultancy, the UK-based property and construction specialist, has secured their second International Green Apple Award for the Old Fire Station Refurbishment initiative in Oxford.

Full details of the award will be revealed at the formal awards ceremony in Swindon on June 24th 2013, where awards will be presented by Doreen Lawrence, successful campaigning mother of murder victim Stephen Lawrence, who was planning to become an architect before his tragic death.

Green Apple Awards 2013 Paul Quinney, Operations Director at Allen Construction Consultancy, said, "We are all delighted that the Old Fire Station Refurbishment project has secured so much interest. We worked with Oxford City Council and Crisis, the national homeless charity, in partnership to redevelop the Old Fire Station with the aim of making the building an active part of the community, where a range of partners would come together to occupy and work in the building, including arts and cultural organisations, health organisations, homeless charities and social enterprise agencies."
